Quantock Quest trophies up for grabs! Trophies were available for 1st - 4th place. Each competitor received a commemorative plaque.

The Finish Line........ somewhere....somehow.. in a not so distant future.... a team is just out there.....covered head to foot in red mud... trying to find enough energy to make it up that last hill.........

Martin Owen finished 1st in E class. He looked a whole lot better than the poor guy who came in 2nd place! Martin even went on to do the whole thing again in D class ....... mad!

Apparently, it was not one of the dogs that was making the "wheezing sound" coming in over the finish line....................

Roly Brading finishing 1st in D class .... we are waiting for photographic evidence but this super human marine was spotted running up the hills by the marshalls.....including the last monster.....(where did he find that energy.)........ that may go some way to explain the collapse over the handlebars at the finish line .......A well earnt win!

Tim Oliver finishing 2nd in D class.... meanwhile Bruce Hall was having his own little party to the side of the finish line watching Aceca dogs take both 1st and 2nd place in the D class.

Martin Owen... still having time/energy to smile for the camera... despite being his SECOND time around the trail with a relatively small team!
