Introducing a pair of siberian huskies into our home in 2003 meant finding ourselves on a slippery slope to buying another one..or two..or three,  trading in the GTI for a Merc Sprinter, crawling out of bed at 4am for our "all over body mud mask" in the local forestry commission & spending many a night sleeping in the van in sub zero conditions and ..gasp! no hot water or electricity!
